Key Dates and Deadlines

to September 15, 2009

• Continue call for contributors and co/authors.
  • We are encouraging collaborative teams (Second Edition Interestees).
• Submit chapter previews: working titles, summaries, and lists of contributors (Chapter Abstracts).
• Please make sure you have added your contact information to our collection form (Contact Info form).
• Review the stylesheet (Chapter Template/Stylesheet).

September 30, 2009

• Make sure your contact information in our spreadsheet is accurate and complete (Contact Info sheet).
• Submit complete chapter outlines to accompany Chapter Abstracts and lists of contributors.
• Review the stylesheet (Chapter Template/Stylesheet).
• Check for listings of your chapters in the BookTwoOverview.

October 30, 2009

• Submit complete chapter drafts:
  • Attach pre-formatted Word® document to mail to Kevin and Sandy (Home).
• Complete and confirm listings for your chapters in the BookTwoOverview, tags and all.

November 2009

• Online conference. Each contributor will be invited to share their research and chapter information.
• Peer reviews

Early 2010

• Education for a Digital World - Edition 2.0 Webinar Series (March - April)
  • Call for participation
  • Schedule of webinar events

• Soft launch in Second Life (author chats and SL presentations)

November 2010

• Official launch at the Commonwealth of Learning Conference (PCF6)

Early 2011

• Official launch at the Digital Learning Spring Conference, April 17-19, 2011, in Vancouver, BC.
  • Meet and greet the authors April 18th at 12:30 p.m. Pacific daylight time (World Clock).
